摘  要:清代西南汉学书院及其文化传播是促进晚近时期“中国”认同的重要力量和方式。就媒介意义来看,汉学书院依托家族和师生关系网络,将其文化渗透到西南各地,催生出基于大一统认知的地域性学术形态;就心理层面来看,汉学书院历史叙事和祭祀之中文翁、尹珍作为符号人物的出现,引领了西南知识精英的文化寻根思潮,标志着西南地方认同意识的觉醒;就实践表现来看,汉学书院的师生高举“中体西用”“通经致用”的理论,积极投身到维持中国政治独立和文化保存的历史进程中。Philology Academies in southwest China and its cultural transmission in the late Qing dynasty were an important power and means to promote China s identity in the early modern years.In terms of medium,the culture of Philology Academies has permeated into many parts of southwest China by relying on the network of lineages and teacher-student relationships and has produced the local schools based on the great unification.At the psychological level,the appearance of symbolic figures,such as Wen Weng and Yin Zhen,in the historical narration and sacrifice of the Philology Academies,has led the ideology of cultural-root seeking of the knowledge elites in the southwest,which has symbolized the awakening of place identification in the southwest regions.In terms of practical performance,the students and teachers of the Philology Academies have put forward the theory of“Chinese-style Westernization”and“applying the knowledge into practice”and actively devoted themselves to the historical progress of maintaining China s political independence and preserving the culture.
