摘　　要：We are saddened to the death of Dr.Dang Sheng Su at the age of 57 on June 22,2019.Dang Sheng was one of the world's most distinguished carbocatalysis scientists and microscopist.He made many important contributions to the field of sustainable chemistry,advanced microscopical science,and carbon materials for catalysis applications.
