摘　　要：次级性状对奶牛生产性能无直接影响,但是对其终生生产性能尤其是综合经济效益有着巨大而间接的影响。奶牛育种过程中常常只重视对生产性能的提高而忽略了对次级性状的选育提高。为此,文章综述了奶牛的健康性状、繁殖性状、在群寿命性状和体型性状4类次级性状,并对其进行了总结和展望,以期为同行提供一定参考。Secondary traits have no direct impact on production performance of dairy cattle,but have huge and indirect impact on the cow’s lifetime performance,especially the overall economic benefits. In the dairy breeding process,attention is often paid to the improvement of production performance yet the selection and improvement of secondary traits are always neglected. So this article reviewed the healthy traits,reproductive traits,herdlife traits and type traits of dairy cattle,and summarized and prospected,in order to provide a reference for peers.
