摘　　要：在维多利亚时代的英国城市中,“人群”成为了一种新兴的社会现象,继而引发了社会学领域乃至文化艺术领域专家学者对“人群景象”的关注.这一主题的绘画作品既承载着艺术家对社会问题的思考,同时也成为了一种独具特色的艺术风格.本文以维多利亚时代风俗画中表现这一景象的艺术作品为分析对象,探析这类主题的作品所承载的社会文化含义与审美艺术特征.During Queen Victoria's reign,“people”became an emerging social phenomenon in the British cities,which then aroused the attention of experts and scholars in the field of sociology and even culture and art to“the image of people”.Paintings themed on“people”of this period not only carry the artist's reflection on social issues,but also become a special artistic style.This paper takes the genre paintings in the Victorian era which represent this social phenomenon to analyze the signification in terms of society and culture and the aesthetic characteristics of these works.
