摘  要:设计并制作了一种基于单模光纤-石英毛细管-单模光纤的马赫-曾德尔干涉仪光纤传感器。该传感器对环境折射率敏感,但对环境温度不敏感。传感器的石英毛细管长度为3 cm,内径为2μm,外径为150μm。毛细管壁由高纯熔融石英构成。根据传感器透射光谱的谐振峰(波谷)波长对环境折射率变化敏感的特点,通过监测谐振峰波长的移动,测量了环境折射率。实验结果表明:当谐振峰波长为1555 nm时,折射率最大灵敏度为122.3 nm/RIU(RIU为折射率单位),而温度灵敏度很低,说明该传感器可以消除温度对折射率的交叉敏感性。该传感器具有制作简单、结构紧凑、成本低、重复性好、灵敏度高等优点,在环境折射率测量中具有一定的应用前景。A Mach-Zehnder interferometer fiber sensor based on single mode fiber-quartz capillary-single mode fiber was designed and fabricated.The sensor was sensitive to environmental refractive index but not sensitive to ambient temperature.The length of quartz capillary was 3 cm,the inner diameter was 2μm and the outer diameter was 150μm in the sensor.The capillary wall was made up of high purity molten quartz.Based on the characteristic that the resonant peak(wave valley)wavelength of the transmission spectrum of the sensor was sensitive to the change of refractive index of the environment,the environmental refractive index was measured by monitoring the shift of the resonant peakwavelength.The experimental results showed when the resonant peak wavelength was 1555 nm,the maximum sensitivity of refractive index response was 122.3 nm/RIU(RIU was the unit of refractive index),and the sensitivity of temperature of the sensor was very low,which indicated that the sensor could eliminate the cross-sensitivity of temperature to refractive index.The sensor had many advantages,such as easy fabrication,compact structure,low cost,good repeatability and high sensitivity,so it had a certain application prospect in environmental refractive index measurement.
