It has become an important task at present to make better use of the mainstream international public opinion field so as to reduce the world’s misunderstanding of China and to promote China’s identity as an active contributor. As a think tank dedicated to promoting exchanges between China and foreign countries, the Center for China and Globalization (CCG) recently conducted a series of "track Ⅱ diplomacy" activities in the United States. At the same time, it participated in the Munk Debates, a world-renowned international public debate held in Canada, in an effort to objectively and rationally analyze and explain China to the world audience, especially the western public, on the mainstream western communication platform.
