摘 要:Objective To explore the association between rs6795735 in disintegrin-like and metallo-proteinase with thrombospondin type 1 motif 9(ADAMTS9)gene and glycemic phenotypes and its gender specific effect. Methods This study was conducted in 2030 students aged 7~18 years in Beijing. They were divided into obesity group and non-obesity group.Genotyping of rs6795735 was performed with matrix assisted laser desorption ionization time of flight mass spectrometry(MALDI-TOF MS).Logistic and linear regressions were performed to assess the associations between rs6795735 and glycemic phenotypes. Results Rs6795735 was significantly associated with impaired fasting glucose(IFG)[OR(95%CI)1.38(1.11~1.71),P=0.004],while not associated with fasting plasma glucose(FPG).Stratified analysis according to gender showed that rs6795735 was only significantly associated with IFG and FPG in girls[OR(95%CI)1.61(1.14~2.28),P=0.007 andβ(SE)=0.056(0.028),P=0.048].No similar association was found in boys. Conclusion Rs6795735 in ADAMTS9 gene was associated with IFG and FPG,and had a gender-specific effect. In girls,FPG and IFG risk were higher in s6795735 C allele carriers than in non-C allele carriers.
