摘 要:在经历了几十年的发展后,网络技术目前已经形成了相对完善与稳定的体系结构。然而近年来各种网络应用出现了爆炸式的增长,网络承载的业务需求日益复杂多变,传统网络体系架构由于封闭、固化的特点越来越难以适应各种业务层应用的冲击。在传统网络架构下,控制平面和数据平面以分布式的方式部署在网络中的各个设备上,这样的部署方式会造成网络管理上的困难。另外传统网络协议的分层设计使得网络协议十分复杂,并且新的协议还在不断增加,各个设备厂家的私有协议使得这种情况更加糟糕,传统网络架构下设备操作命令繁多,不同厂家操作指令不兼容,导致网络运维复杂。并且网络新功能的升级需要的开发部署周期非常长,完全不能适应当前不断发展的业务层应用对于网络的要求。在此背景下,为开放网络可编程能力,扩大网络创新空间,软件定义网络技术以及可编程数据平面技术应运而生。本文通过介绍软件定义网络以及可编程数据平面技术的技术细节,展示为什么可编程数据平面技术能够为网络创新带来空间和可能。After decades of development,network technology has now formed a relatively stable architecture.However,in recent years,network-related applications have experienced explosive growth,and the business requirements of network have become increasingly complex and variable.Due to the closed and solidized features of traditional network architectures,it is increasingly difficult to adapt to the impact of various business layer applications.In the traditional network architecture,the control plane and data plane are deployed in a distributed way on various devices in the network,which will cause difficulties in network management.And the development and deployment cycle of the new network function upgrade is very long which is completely unable to adapt to the requirements of the business layer application for the network.In this context,in order to open up the network programmability and expand the space of network innovation,software defined network technology and programmable data plane technology have emerged.By introducing the technical details of software definition network and programmable data plane technology,this paper shows why programmable data plane technology can bring space and possibilities for network innovation.
