浅析近代云南社会变迁的大事因缘  

On the Great Events Relating to Yunnan’s Social Transformation at Modern Era

摘　　要：开埠通商、修筑铁路、抗战内迁是近代云南社会变迁过程中发生的三件大事。对这些大事因缘进行梳理,可以发现近代云南社会变迁是云南在英法殖民主义扩张的背景下被动接吸纳资本主义世界体系后主动迎接挑战的过程,其社会变迁的动因不仅源于英法殖民渗透带来的冲突和近代化示范,还源于在强烈的民族危机下积极主动推进云南近代化的政府和先行者。如果说开埠通商、滇越铁路的修筑强行启动和加速了近代云南社会变迁,那昆明自开商埠、自建个碧石铁路就以主动的方式升华了近代民族主义,形成了敢为人先的爱国主义民族精神,为中华民族危亡之际的抗战内迁奠定了良好的经济和社会基础,最终使云南站在了中国近代史发展的前沿。Ports opening,railroad building and the moving of industries from inner part into Yunnan during the Anti-Japanese invasion were the three great events that took place during Yunnan’s social transformation at the modern era.While analyzing these three events,one would find that Yunnan’s social transformation reflected a willingness of Yunnan people to meet the challenges posed by the British and French colonial expansion.What led to the social transformation of Yunnan not only came from the conflicts brought by the colonial penetration of England and France,but also originated from the pioneers of Yunnan,who had been striving to seek a road to modernization.If the ports and railroad building pushed by Britain and France activated and then quickened Yunnan’s social transformation,then the later active involvement of the Yunnan people into the opening a port in Kunming and building the Gejiu-Bisezhai and Shiping Railroad fostered a modern spirit of nationalism.This nationalism developed into patriotism that was combined with a pioneering spirit.All these helped Yunnan lay a solid economic and social foundation for China’s industry relocation during the Second World War,making Yunnan a forerunner on China’s way to modernization.
