摘 要:聚苯乙烯泡沫塑料(EPS)应用广泛,但是有易燃的缺点,而可膨胀石墨(EG)具有阻燃性能。目前,学者主要研究了EG与其它阻燃剂的配比和种类对复合EPS阻燃材料的影响,很少系统探究石墨的特性如石墨的粒级、EG的添加量、膨胀体积对复合EPS阻燃材料的性能的影响。通过EG包覆改性EPS制备EG/EPS复合阻燃材料,确定EG的添加量、膨胀体积、原料粒级对EG/EPS复合材料的性能的影响,为阻燃剂EG的应用提供依据。试验确定的最佳条件为:EG添加量为10wt%;膨胀体积为120 mL·g^-1;EG原料粒级-0.100 mm+0.074 mm。由SEM表征、热重分析可知,高温燃烧时,EG吸热分解吸收大量热源,降低EPS与热源的接触;同时EG在材料表面形成六边形骨架,起到隔绝热源的作用。Polystyrene foam(EPS)is widely used with the disadvantage of being flammable.Expandable graphite(EG)will be the gospel of its flame retardant.At present,scholars generally study the influence of the ratio and type of EG and other flame retardants on the composite EPS flame retardant materials,and rarely systematically explore the effect of graphite properties on the performance of composite EPS flame retardant materials,such as the grain size of graphite,the addition amount of EG,and the expansion volume.The flame retardant EPS composites were prepared by EG’s coating modification.The effects of EG’s addition amount,expansion volume and raw material size on the performance of EG/EPS composites were systematically investigated,which provides a basis for the application of flame retardant EG.The results show the optimum conditions.The mass fraction of EG is 10wt%,the expansion volume is 120 mL·g^-1 and the raw material fraction is-0.100 mm+0.074 mm.Scanning electron microscopy and thermogravimetric analysis were used to test samples,which showed the results that when the composites ignite,EG is decomposed by heat,absorbing a large amount of heat source,and reducing the contact between the EPS and the heat source;at the same time,the EG forms a hexagonal skeleton on the surface of the material to isolate the heat source.
