摘　　要：阿塞拜疆被誉为“里海明珠”,是东欧和西亚的“十字路口”,阿塞拜疆四个字在阿拉伯语中意为“火的国家”,是集古典和时尚魅力为一身的国家,其首都巴库被称为“小迪拜”。是前苏联联邦共和国之一,是伊斯兰世界中首个成功建立议会民主制的国家(早于土耳其共和国)。也是穆斯林世界第一个赋予女性选举权和同等政治权利的国家,是穆斯林世界第一个非宗教共和国,习俗与欧洲无异。Azerbaijan is known as the "Pearl of the Caspian Sea"and is a"crossroad"in Eastern Europe and West Asia.The word Azerbaijan means"a country of fire"in Arabic.It is a country that combines classical and fashion charm.Its capital Baku is Known as"Little Dubai."It is one of the former Soviet Union Federal Republics and the first successful pariiamentary democracy in the Islamic world(earlier than the Republic of Turkey).It is also the first country in the Muslim world to grant women the right to vote and equal political rights.
