摘　　要：在华裔美国作家汤亭亭的第一部真正意义上的小说《引路人孙行者:他的即兴曲》中,小说情节的发展与小说主题的阐释带有独特的后现代特色。读者在后现代文学文体学的视角下和在身份构建理论的指导下,通过作者深思熟虑的设计和特殊的布局去寻找小说的主题即主人公民族身份(华裔美国人身份)的构建。主人公阿新在美国主流社会中开始陷入身份危机,开启身份探索之路和成功构建自身身份的分析,为在全球化、多元化背景下的少数族裔如何构建自身身份属性提供了重要的启示。In Tripmaster Monkey:His Fake Book(TM),which is the first true fiction written by Kings ton,the plot development and the thematic interpretation of the novel are colored with unique postmodern fea tures.Those implied answers that readers need to seek are well concealed in the writer’s exquisite design,unique arrangements and stylistic features from the postmodern perspective and guided by identity construction theory during which readers are able to seek the way of reconstructing Chinese Americans’identity.In the mainstream of American society,the protagonist Ah Sing began to trap in his identity crisis,set off to explore his proper identity and succeed in reconstructing his new identity which can turn out to convey certain indica tions on how to construct proper identity for ethnic minority under the globalization and diversification of the world.
