摘　　要：IN 1954,Chinese geologists discovered uranium deposits in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region,providing China the foundation to independently develop the nuclear industry.In order to defend national security and world peace,the collective leadership of the first generation of the Communist Party of China(CPC)Central Committee with Chairman Mao Zedong at its core decided to develop atomic and hydrogen bombs and the man-made satellite at the early days after the People’s Republic of China was founded.
