摘　　要：This thesis attaches great importance on the language features and relevant strategies from popular American television series The Vampire Diaries.First,the thesis makes a brief introduction of the development and characteristics of subtitle translation.Second,the thesis elaborates some language features on three levels:lexis,syntax and discourse.Finally,the thesis lists relevant subtitle translation strategies and makes a conclusion.This thesis attaches great importance on the language features and relevant strategies from popular American television series The Vampire Diaries.
