摘  要:Chuang Hua’s Crossings is considered as“Chinamerican gem”.In the protagonist Jane’s quest for her self-identity in post-colonial discourse,she encounters cultural“displacement”and“homelessness”,as a result of her constant geographical moves,ordinal and sexual position in her family and the differences of the two cultures.To settle such cultural anxiety,Jane shares common views with Homi Bhabha’s insights—denying the binary logic way of viewing identity as essential Self to Other,but constructing the Third Space.Chuang Hua’s Crossings is considered as"Chinamerican gem".
