群际失调情境中自我复杂性与态度改变的关系：失调感的中介作用

摘　　要：目的:以往认知失调领域的研究大多集中于个体内层面的失调(即自身信念与行为的不一致),仅有少数研究探讨了群体过程中产生的失调,且相关研究较少采用东方被试。本研究致力于探讨自我复杂性是如何影响中国大学生在因个体与群体态度不一致时所引发的群体内认知失调情境中的态度改变及其影响机制。方法:以222名大学生为被试,通过让所有被试都相信他们所感兴趣的某一争议性话题的观点与群体中其他人的观点相反,来创设因态度不一致引发的群体内认知失调唤醒情境。结果:通过Bootstrapping中介效应检验发现,自我复杂性对群体内失调情景中态度改变的直接效应显著(β=-0.45);自我复杂性通过失调感预测态度改变的间接效应显著(效应值=-0.04)。结论:自我复杂性是影响大学生在群体内失调情景中进行态度改变以缓解失调的重要因素,而且失调感在自我复杂性和态度改变间起显著中介作用。Objective: Many researched on cognitive dissonance have focused on the intraindividual aspect of dissonance, however, limited researches looked at cognitive dissonance in intragroup dissonance or Eastern populations. The present study explored how self-complexity(SC) affected how experiencing dissonance influence individual attitudes in response to intragroup dissonance, and the mediating effects of dissonance discomfort on the relations between SC and attitude change in Chinese college students. Methods: A total of 222 college students were informed that all other members of their group disagreed with their position on an issue of interest to generate dissonance. Dissonance discomfort and attitude change were measured after participants anticipated an impending group discussion. Results: SC was a significantly negative predictor of the attitude change(β=-0.45), and dissonance discomfort mediated the relationship between SC and attitude change(mediating effect:-0.04). Conclusion: SC plays a role in Chinese students’ feelings and attitude changes related to cognitive dissonance generated by in-group disagreement, which is mediated by dissonance discomfort.
