西夏北部边防军司城寨探考

摘　　要：在任何史料中,均找不到西夏修筑长城的历史记载。近年来,蒙古、俄罗斯等国的考古学者对蒙古国南戈壁省境内的汉外长城进行了考察,得出的结论是西夏长城'西夏到底有没有修筑长城,首先需要考察一下西夏的北疆防御情况。一般认为,西夏的北部边防设有三个军司,由东向西依次为黑山威福军司、白马强镇军司、黑水镇燕军司,下面分别予以探考。Xixia,as a local regime established by the nornadit!people in the north of China,has weak national strength and suffered from enemies from all sides.Facing the rising Mongol tribes in the north,Xixia adopted the defense system of military department based on military stronghold.From the east to the west,there are several military departments which have jurisdiction over several villages,such as Heishanweifu militar>r department,Baimaqiangzhen military department,Heishuizhen military department.There is no historical record of the construction of the Great Wall in northern Xinjiang.The statement of archaeologists in Mongolia,Russia and other countries that regard the Great Wall outside the Han Dynasty in south Gobi province of Mongolia as the Great Wall of Xixia dynasty is inappropriate.
