论北燕存亡的时代契机

摘　　要：五胡十六国时期接续后燕余脉的冯氏北燕,在北魏、柔然两大军事势力的夹缝中建国发展,是弱国周旋于强邻之中的一个生存例证。从客观条件来讲,北燕建国初年,正是强邻北魏和柔然帝国的对峙制衡时期,为北燕政权的短期存续发展创造了一个客观的和平空间。再加上冯跋治国政策的得体,使得北燕获得了几十年的相对和平环境。然而,当外部的政治制衡格局一旦打破,北燕的灭亡就是时代的必然。Feng’s Northern Yan Dynasty,the successor of Later Yan Dynasty in the period of Wuhu and Sixteen Kingdoms,built up and developed in the gap between the two major military forces of the Northern Wei Dynasty and Rouran Khanate,which is a living example of the weak country dealing with its strong neighbors.In terms of objective conditions,in the early years of Northern Yan founding,it was the period of confrontation and balance between the strong neighbors Northern Wei Dynasty and Rouran,which created an objective peaceful space for the short-term survival and development of Northern Yan regime.In addition,Feng Ba’s proper policy of governing the country made Northern Yan Dynasty obtain a relatively peaceful environment for decades.However,once the external political balance pattern is broken,the death of Northern Yan Dynasty is inevitable.
