摘　　要：西学东渐背景下,中国教育快速发展,陈植依托中国传统文化创设“造园”一词,并为“造园学”正名奋斗了一生,为中国风景园林学发展作出了极大的贡献。在更具体的专业学科背景下,可以说陈植的“造园学”对风景园林学科发展起到了基础构建的作用,有着重要的理论和实践意义。Under the background of the west culture propagate to east and with the rapid development of Chinese education,Chen Zhi coined the word"Landscape Making"according to Chinese traditional culture,and fought for the establishment of its name for a lifetime,which made significant contributions to the development of Chinese landscape architecture.In a more specific professional discipline background,it said that Chen Zhi's efforts to Landscaping Making bear great significance in promoting the development of Chinese landscape architecture,both in theoretical and practical dimensions.
