华裔美国作家哈金作品《落地》建构的中国形象——基于语料库的考察  

Images of China in Chinese-American Writer Ha Jin’s A Good Fall——A Corpus-based Study

摘　　要：以形象学理论为阐释框架,使用在线语料库统计检索工具Sketch Engine,从词汇层面,以“China”“Chinese”“Party”搭配词的语义韵和检索行为核心考察美籍华裔流散作家哈金短篇小说集《落地》(A Good Fall)建构的中国形象。分析表明,作者在这部当代移民文学作品里从国家、政党、社会层面构建了负面消极的中国形象,延续并强化了西方对中国有关方面的历史刻板印象。究其因,经济因素、对中国了解滞后以及在异国的写作政治策略等起着主导作用。Using the theory of Imagology and assisted by the on-line corpus-analyzing tool-Sketch Engine,the paper examines how the images of China,Chinese society and the ruling Party are constructed by the famed Chinese-American diaspora writer Ha Jin in his short story collection A Good Fall of 2009.The study of the prosody of the collocates around the node words"China","Chinese"and"Party",and their concordance lines show that A Good Fall presents a quite negative images of China,Chinese society and the ruling Party to the western readers,which is attributable to the following three factors:economic consideration,lack of updated information on the depicted country and the author's political writing strategy.
