摘  要:威尔克斯盆地是位于横贯南极山脉腹地的大型冰下盆地,因其地理位置的特殊性,该盆地对于研究横贯南极山脉的形成甚至是南极洲演化过程具有重要作用,但是由于缺乏较为广泛的地质地球物理调查,该盆地的构造特征及起源仍存在一定的争议。基于威尔克斯盆地南部及其周边地区的航磁异常数据,利用欧拉反褶积算法,标识了该地区几条主要断裂,断裂走向多呈近南北向且与Mertz断裂走向一直,说明了该地区演化过程中受断裂控制的可能,为威尔克斯盆地的研究提供一些依据。Wilkes Basin is a large subglacial basin located in the hinterland of the Transantarctic Mountains. Because of its special geographical location, the basin plays an important role in studying the formation of the Trans-Antarctic Mountains and, indeed, the geologic evolution of Antarctica as a whole. However, because of the lack of extensive geological and geophysical investigations, the structural characteristics and origin of the basin are still controversial. Based on aeromagnetic anomaly data of the southern Wilkes Basin and surrounding areas, several main faults in this area are identified using an Euler inversion algorithm. The strikes of these faults are mostly nearly north-south, coincident with the direction of the Mertz Fault, which indicates the possibility of fracture control during the evolution in this region. This study is an important reference for future studies of the Wilkes Basin.
