摘 要:为研究双偏振雷达资料在冬季冰雹监测预警中的应用,利用厦门S波段双偏振雷达资料,分析了2016年12月21日福建漳州冰雹的回波特征。发现在降雹过程中,最强回波达69 dBZ,三体散射回波径向长度达16 km,旁瓣回波切向宽达20 km,低层的钩状回波与入流缺口明显;冰雹区的差分反射率因子Z dr和差分相位常数K dp数值小,冰水混合区的相关系数ρhv较低。分析表明:此冰雹个例并非典型的超级单体,但存在超级单体的部分偏振回波特征,回波前侧下沉气流存在Z dr弧,可延伸到中层,在入流缺口和后侧下沉气流处,Z dr柱和K dp柱成对出现,中层存在CC的低值环。For the applications of winter hailstones monitoring and warning,Xiamen S-band dual-polarization radar data are used to analyze the polarization echo characteristics of hailstones in Zhangzhou City,Fujian Province,21 December 2016.In polarimetric radar observations,hailstorm is found of having the largest horizontal reflectivity(Z hh,69 dBZ),the radial length of Three-body Scattering Signature(TBSS,16 km)and the tangential distance of side-lobe echo(20 km)during the lifetime and the reflectivity hook and inflow region in low-level are obvious.The remarkable signatures of hailstones are in low differential reflectivity(Z dr)and low specific differential phase(K dp),whereas lowρhv in rain mixed with hails.The analysis shows that this hail case is not a typical supercell thunderstorm,but there are partial polarization echo features of supercell thunderstorm.Besides,a shallow region of high Z dr is found on the Forward-Flank Downdraft(FFD),called the Z dr“arc”,extending to the middle level.The Z dr and K dp columns in pairs and midlevel“rings”of depressed CC are observed in the inflow region and the Rear-Flank Downdraft(RFD).
