英国文学教学中的伦理维度——以《大教堂凶杀案》为例

摘　　要：“斯芬克斯因子”是文学伦理批评学中的重要术语,分为人性因子和兽性因子。《大教堂凶杀案》中大主教贝克特、信徒等充任了人性因子身份,诱劝者、骑士等则扮演了兽性因子角色,二者的矛盾冲突构建了整剧的伦理环境与伦理结构。通过对剧中斯芬克斯因子的解构,揭示了当时社会主流的伦理价值,体现了道德榜样与道德教诲的文学功能,这在英国文学教学中具有创新意义。“Sphinx factor”is an important term in literary ethics criticism,which is divided into human factor and animal factor.In“The Cathedral Murder”,the Archbishop Beckett and the believer act as the human factor identity,while the persuader and the knight act as the animal factor role.The conflict between them constructs the ethical environment and the ethical structure of the whole play.Through the deconstruction of the factor of Sphinx in the play,this important play reveals the ethical value of the mainstream of the society at that time,embodies the literary function of moral example and moral education,which is of innovative significance in English literature teaching.
