摘　　要：左心房(LA)扩大是大部分心血管疾病的预测指标之一,同时也与很多疾病的诊断、发生发展及预后判断等密切相关,如左心室舒张功能评价、心房颤动(AF)、射血分数保留的心衰(HFPEF)、肥厚型心肌病(HCM)和高血压性心脏病(hypertension)等。超声心动图是评价左心房大小的首选方法,相对于面积和容积,左心房内径具有方便、快捷、重复性好以及易于回顾性研究的优势。Left atrial(left atrium, LA) enlargement is one of the predictors of most cardiovascular diseases, and is also closely related to the diagnosis, development and prognosis of many diseases, such as left ventricular diastolic function evaluation, atrial fibrillation(AF), heart failure preserved ejection fraction(HFPEF), hypertrophic cardiomyopathy(HCM), and hypertension. Echocardiography is the preferred method for assessing the size of the left atrium. The left atrial diameter is advantageous, quick, reproducible, and easy to retrospectively study, relative to area and volume. Therefore, this article reviews the important clinical significance of the left atrial diameter.
