摘 要:威拉砾岩型红土镍矿形成过程相对较特殊,系辉石橄榄岩经剥蚀、搬运、沉积形成砾岩及巨砾岩之后经风化淋滤富集而成矿。成岩成矿过程短:成岩于早更新世,成矿期为早更新世以来。橄榄岩质砾岩分布面积<5.5 km^2,决定了成矿后矿床(体)规模仅为中型,边界品位矿体平均厚度为3.62m,工业品位矿体平均厚度为2.92 m,工业品位矿石量仅占5.23%。其矿床规模、品位和品级等与直接由超基性岩经风化淋滤富集形成的红土型镍矿差别较大。现阶段开采利用将处于亏损状态。"走出去"进行红土型镍矿找矿勘查时,应首先确定其成矿母岩岩性,对砾岩型红土镍矿勘查不宜超越预查阶段。With a relatively special formation process of weathering-leaching-deposition and enrichment Weila conglomerate-type laterite nickel ore is derived from pyroxene peridotite after being eroded,transported,and deposited to form conglomerate and boulder conglomerate.The diagenesis and mineralization period are short,of which the former occurred in early Pleistocene and the latter occurred since early Pleistocene.The distribution area of peridotite conglomerate is less than 5.5 km^2,which determines that it is a medium scale deposit( body).The average thickness of ore body with cutoff grade is 3.62 m while the average thickness of commercial ore body is 2.92 m.The content of ore with commercial grade only accounts for 5.23% of total.The scale,grade and quality of this type of ore deposit are quite different from the laterite nickel ore directly derived from ultrabasic rocks after weathering and leaching.Mining at this stage is not profitable.When "going global"for laterite nickel ore prospecting,the lithology of its provenance rock should be determined first,and the exploration of conglomerate laterite nickel ore should not go beyond the preliminary surveying stage.
