晚清幕府史学活动的经世意义及其局限性

摘　　要：清季,在官方史学式微的情况下,私家史学发展迅速,而地方官员所开幕府对于晚清史学的整体发展也具有重要推动作用。幕主借幕宾之力编校图书,改革书院,兴办书局,幕宾借幕主之力著书、刻书,促使晚清史学不断发展。由于内忧外患的时代背景,晚清幕府的史学活动有了更多的经世意义和社会使命感。幕府将兴办教育与学术研究、学术出版融为一体,成为官方史学与私家史学联系的纽带。幕府通过改革书院、兴办书局,将官方与私家史学活动连接起来,成为晚清时期史学发展的独特现象。晚清幕府的史学活动虽然促进了史学的繁荣,但由于幕府史学以维护传统的文化秩序为宗旨,非但没有挑起近代史学转型的重任,甚至阻碍了中国历史发展的近代化进程,不可避免地走向了衰落。In late Qing Dynasty,the private historiography developed rapidly while the official historiography was in decline.The councils of local officers made great contribution to the development of historiography of late Qing dynasty.The officer wrote and edited books,reform colleges,establish publishing houses with the help of advisors.On the other hand,the advisors wrote and pressed books.Under the background of domestic strife and foreign aggression,the historical activities of councils was endowed more?practical ideology and a sense of mission.The councils integrated education,academic research and academic publishing.As a bond between official and private academy,publishing houses,colleges and councils made them entangled and became a unique phenomenon in the late Qing dynasty.Councils in the late Qing dynasty initiated the prosperity of historiography at that time.However,because they aim to protect traditional culture,they not only didn’t take the responsibility of cultural transformation,but also hindered the modernization of China's historical development.In summary,the decay of councils was an inevitable outcome.
