摘  要:电光晶体材料是全固态激光器的基础材料之一,可实现激光传播特性的调制,电光调制具有效率高、稳定性好、响应快及无惯性等优势。新型高效电光晶体的发展,对于全固态激光技术的发展和应用具有重要意义。作为一种性能优良的多功能晶体材料,钽铌酸钾晶体具有显著的电光效应和光折变效应,其发现和研究已有半个多世纪历史。以激光调制技术需求和电光晶体发展为背景,从电光晶体材料理论出发,系统回顾和介绍了钽铌酸钾系列晶体作为一种可实用化的二次电光晶体材料的研究进展。Electro-optic crystal is one of the basic materials of all-solid-state laser,which can be used to modulate the laser propagation characteristic.Electro-optic modulation has a lot of advantages such as high efficiency,good stability,quick response and inertialessness etc.The development of novel highly efficient electro-optic crystal is of great significance for the development and application of all-solid-state laser technique.As a kind of multifunctional crystal material with excellent properties,potassium tantalate niobate crystal has remarkable electro-optic effect and photorefractive effect,which has been discovered and studied for more than a century.With the development of laser modulation technology and electro-optic crystal as the background,the research progress of potassium tantalate niobate crystal as a practical quadratic electro-optic crystal material is reviewed systematically in this paper.
