摘　　要：欧洲的殖民活动对拉丁美洲地名的命名有着一定的影响。文章将从欧洲殖民活动造成的地名更替,拉丁美洲国家地名中的殖民色彩,以及这些地方脱离殖民统治后的命名这三个方面讨论欧洲殖民活动对拉丁美洲地名的影响。研究殖民活动对地名命名的影响,有助于了解殖民者的意图及其目的,以及反映民族的语言特色、文化内涵、历史根源等。European colonization had a certain impact on the naming of geographical names in Latin America.This paper will discuss the influence of European colonial activities on geographical names in Latin America from three aspects:toponymic change caused by European colonial activities,colonial colors in Latin American countries,and the naming of these places after their separation from colonial rule.The study of the influence of colonial activities on the naming of geographical names is helpful to understand the intention and purpose of the colonists,and to reflect the linguistic characteristics,cultural connotations,historical roots and so on of the nation.
