摘 要:文章探讨不同媒介条件下阅读效果差异的产生原因,以认知地图理论为指导,寻求提升数字阅读效果的途径。通过实验研究方法,选取110名大学生读者,设计纸本书阅读及其等效电子书阅读、弱化背景信息线索的Word数字阅读,对比3种阅读条件下的阅读效果和性别差异。研究发现,纸本书组和等效电子书组的阅读理解成绩、沉浸感得分均显著高于Word组,疲劳感均低于Word组;男女生在3种阅读条件下表现无显著差异。影响阅读效果的主要因素并非使用何种媒介,而是文本呈现形式能否促进认知地图的构建,在此基础上对图书馆数字阅读服务提出建议。This paper aims to explain the reasons why the different reading media cause different reading effects,trying to seek for effective ways to improve the effects of digital reading based on the cognitive map mechanism.A laboratory experiment(N=110)is conducted to compare the reading effects and gender distinctions in three different reading conditions:paper book reading,equivalent e-book digital reading,and Word-document-based digital reading with weak cues for background information.The results show that both the paper book(reading)group and equivalent e-book(digital reading)group are doing better than Word-document-based(digital reading)group in terms of reading comprehension,immersion,and feelings of fatigue,and there is no significant difference between male and female students in the three reading conditions.The study demonstrates that reading outcomes are not mainly affected by the presentation medium,but depended on whether the presentation forms of text can promote the cognitive map-making.Some suggestions on library digital reading service are given based on the above results.
