柯林·罗的形式分析与德州教改——以《理想别墅的数学》与《手法主义与现代建筑》为例

摘　　要：本文以柯林·罗的代表性著作《理想别墅的数学及其他》①中的两篇文章--《理想别墅的数学》②与《手法主义与现代建筑》③为中心,通过总结柯林·罗视觉研究的特点与主要方法,尝试在德州教改的背景下解读柯林·罗的现代主义建筑观。本文讨论的两篇文章均发表于20世纪50年代之前,为柯林·罗早期最重要的作品,文章都以现代主义建筑为讨论对象,一经发表即在美国和欧洲学术界产生了深刻影响并引起广泛讨论,这两篇文章对于了解柯林·罗的现代主义建筑的观点及理解同时代的建筑理论观极为重要,并可一窥后期"德州教改"之端倪。This paper is centered on two typical articles of Colin Rowe selected from The Mathematics of the Ideal Villa and Other Essays--The Mathematics of the Ideal Villa and Mannerism and Modern Architecture.The author tries to interpret Colin Rowe’s view of modernist architecture in the context of education reform in Texas by summarizing the characteristics and main methods of his visual research.The two articles were both published in 1950 s and were the most important works of Colin Rowe that discussed modernist architecture.Upon publishing,both of the two typical articles has caused extensive discussion and profound influence in the academic circles of the United States and Europe.These two articles are extremely important for us to understand Colin Rowe’s view of modernist architecture and to understand the contemporary architectural theory,and to learn the clues of the later educational reform in Texas.
