摘　　要：文章从图书馆的使命和当前社会时代发展背景出发,阐释公共图书馆弘扬地方文化的逻辑,以论证该使命的正当性和必要性。同时,提出公共图书馆弘扬地方文化的主要路径,并在总结国内近年来公共图书馆弘扬地方文化特色实践的基础上对未来发展进行了思考。Starting from the mission of library and the development background of the current society,the paper explains the logic of public libraries to promote local culture,so as to demonstrate the legitimacy and necessity of this mission.Meanwhile,the paper puts forward the main paths of public libraries to promote local culture and makes a reflection on its future development on the basis of summarizing the practice of promotion of local culture by public libraries in recent years.
