摘 要:妈祖信仰与双忠公信仰是揭阳乔林乡的主要信仰。天后古庙、双忠庙幸存碑刻文献众多,内容丰富,碑刻文献时间自清中期到民国时期,具有很强的延续性,直观反映了地方宗族通过妈祖信仰与双忠公信仰建构自身社会结构的历程。儒家伦理成为早期林氏宗族的主导意识。而随着乾隆时期林氏族人前往南洋坤甸谋生,妈祖信仰逐渐成为海外移民敬奉的信仰,碑刻所录题捐者多来自海外华侨;而双忠庙沿着既往的轨迹发展,碑刻所录题捐者则来自本乡族人。天后圣母庙、双忠庙碑刻揭示了传统侨乡社会形成发展的脉络过程。Mazu and Shuangzhong beliefs are the two main beliefs of Qiaolin township in Jieyang.There are many surviving inscription literatures with rich contents in the ancient temples of Mazu and Shuangzhong.Especially,the data date from the middle Qing dynasty to the republic of China has strong continuity,which directly reflects the process of constructing social structure of local clans via the beliefs of Mazu and Shuangzhong.Since Confucian ethics have became the dominant consciousness of the early Lin clan,and in the wake of Lin people make a living in Pontianak in Southeast Asia during the Qianlong period,Mazu belief gradually become oversea immigrants’ worship.Thus,donors recorded in the inscriptions were mainly from overseas Chinese;Nevertheless,the development of Shuangzhong temple was along with the track of past,and the donors recorded in the inscription were from local people.Combining with the inscriptions from such two kinds of temples,it reveals the development context of the traditional overseas Chinese community.
