摘　　要：‘苏砧1号’是以自交系‘14S-59’为母本、以‘14S-80’为父本配制而成的葫芦类型西瓜专用砧木杂交1代品种。该砧木种子长方形,种皮灰褐色,种壳坚硬,千粒质量约130 g。根系发达,吸肥力强,下胚轴粗壮不易空心,有利于嫁接作业。嫁接亲和力、共生亲和性强,嫁接成活率高。生长势稳健,结果率高,抗西瓜枯萎病,耐低温弱光,耐瘠薄,不影响西瓜的品质,增产效果明显。适宜江苏省及相似地区春提早保护地西瓜嫁接栽培。2019年8月28日通过江苏省园艺学会审定。‘Suzhen No.1’is a watermelon rootstock F1 hybrid of cucurbit type,which is developed by inbred line‘14S-59’as female parent and‘14S-80’as male parent.This rootstock seed is rectangle shaped with grayish brown seed coat and hard seed shell,the thousand seed weight is about 130 g.It has well developed root system and good absorption for fertilizer.Its stem is thick and strong and not easy hollow.It also has a good affinity with scion,performs well as a symbiosis,and has a high survival rate.It is tolerant to low temperature and resistant to Fusarium wilt and barren soil.The watermelon yield is improved and the fruit quality is not affected.It is suitable for grafting cultivation of watermelon in early spring protected areas in Jiangsu province and similar areas.
