趋近化视域下《另两个》的话语研究

摘　　要：文章以伊迪丝·华顿的短篇小说《另两个》为研究对象,通过Cap提出的趋近化理论,从空间、时间和价值观三个维度探讨作者是如何运用话语改变韦森先生对其妻子爱丽丝的态度,凸显韦森先生的男权思想,并构建趋近化模型。研究发现:在《另两个》一文中,作者主要使用时间趋近化,将爱丽丝过往的婚史投射到当下她的行为上,令韦森先生在心理上对妻子的看法产生"天使"到"破鞋"的变化;作者通过空间趋近化,让爱丽丝前两任丈夫的生活领域不断侵袭韦森先生的生活领域,使得韦森先生对其妻子的猜疑愈发严重。从趋近化视角研究文学话语,有利于挖掘其隐藏在语言背后的文学话语策略,同时为国外小说的理解及其在国内的传播提供新的研究视角和启示。This study takes Edith Wharton’s The Other Two as the research object and uses the STA model from space,time and axiological dimensions based on the proximization theory proposed by Cap to explore how the author uses discourse to change Mr. Waythorn’s attitude towards his wife and to uncover Mr. Waythorn’s male chauvinism and then construct the STA model. It is found that: 1. In the novel of The Other Two,the author changes Mr. Waythorn’s attitude about his wife from " angel" to " old shoe" by projecting Alice’s marriage before to her current behavior through the time proximization strategy. 2. The author makes Mr. Waythorn’s suspicion about his wife getting more serious by pushing Alice’s ex-husbands into Mr. Waythorn’s domain through the space proximization strategy. Research on literature discourse from the perspective of proximization can help us to find out the literature discourse strategy behind the language,and provide a new research angle on the understanding and dissemination of foreign novels.
