摘  要:语言竞争和语言规划是广义社会语言学研究的重要内容。传统的研究路径基本是从语言学、社会学和政治学的角度进行的,较少考虑经济因素这一重要变量。随着当今时代人口流动、信息化、智能化进程的不断加快,语言与经济的关系日益凸显,语言研究“必须意识到语言的经济学属性”。作为一门新兴的交叉学科,语言经济学为语言竞争和语言规划研究提供了全新视角。运用语言经济学相关理论对我国的语言政策和语言规划进行检视会带来诸多启示,比如强化语言的资本观念,努力提高国民语言能力;加强投入与产出研究,注重语言教育实际效益;正确认识语言竞争的动态发展,合理布局语言资源;遵循语言经济运行规律,克服语言政策的随意性。Language competition and language planning are important research areas in the broad sense of sociolinguistics.The traditional research approach is basically from the perspective of linguistics,sociology and political science,with less consideration given to the important variable of economic factors.However,with the acceleration of population flow and the development of information technology and artificial intelligence,the relationship between language and economy is increasingly prominent,and language research‘must take into account of the economic attribute of language.As an emerging interdisciplinary field of study,economics of language provides a brand-new angle for the study of language competition and language planning.By applying its theories to the study of language planning in China,some implications can be reached,including reinforcing the notion of language capital to enhance citizens language aptitude,strengthening the input and output research by paying more attention to the actual yields of language education,rationalizing the layout of language resources by acknowledging the dynamism of language competition,and following the economic law of language development to avoid arbitrariness in language planning.
