摘　　要：修辞叙事学始于第一代芝加哥学派代表人物罗纳德·克莱恩对情节的修辞效果研究,历经第二代和第三代芝加哥学派的不断发展与完善,如今已成为后经典叙事学主要流派之一,呈现出强劲的发展态势。修辞叙事学的学理基础具有多样性,国内的推介与研究则主要围绕以詹姆斯·费伦为首的修辞性叙事理论。本文在国内外现有研究的基础上,首先评介修辞性叙事理论的主要代表人物和重要论著,然后述评叙事交流模式的最新发展,继而逐一梳理修辞性叙事理论主要概念的内涵和意义,最后概括和评价该理论的影响力。Rhetorical Narratology,also called"Rhetorical Theory of Narrative",originated in the study of the rhetorical effects of plot by Ronald S.Crane,a representative of the first-generation Chicago School.It has been continuously developed and refined by the scholars of the second-generation and third-generation Chicago School.Now it is an important branch of post-classical narratology and demonstrates great vitality.A variety of theories have contributed to its development.In China,introduction and review of this theory mainly centers around James Phelan-led rhetorical theory of narrative.Based on the reviews by scholars both at home and abroad,this paper will first introduce the major representatives of Rhetorical Narratology and their important works.Then a review will be given to the latest development of the narrative communication model.The third part of this paper will discuss in detail the major concepts and terms of Rhetorical Narratology,and the final part will summarize and comment on the influences of the theory.
