摘　　要：印度尼西亚泗水市为了鼓励市民积极回收垃圾,推出了“塑料公交车”运动。乘客乘坐公交车时可以用塑料瓶兑换公交车票。印尼有关部门称,该运动大受欢迎,每周有近1.6万名乘客用垃圾换车票。它不仅旨在减少浪费,而且通过鼓励人们使用公共交通来解决交通堵塞问题。在此之前,人们认为塑料垃圾毫无用处,现在人们改变了看法并开始意识到塑料垃圾并不环保。据估计,每年有800万吨塑料进入海洋。这相当于每分钟向海洋倾倒一垃圾车的塑料。因此,世界各国政府都在采取更多措施来遏制塑料垃圾的威胁。In order to encourage citizens to recycle trash actively,the city of Surabaya,Indonesia,has launched a“plastic bus”campaign,which allows passengers exchange plastic bottles for bus tickets when they take the bus.According to authorities,the campaign has been a hit in the city,with nearly 16,000 passengers exchange trash for tickets each week.It aims not only to reduce trash but also to solve the problem of traffic jam by encouraging people to use public transportation.Before that,people thought plastic trash was useless.Their mind has changed now and begun to realize that it is not environmentally friendly.It is estimated 8 million tons of plastics enter the ocean annually.This is equivalent(等同的)to dumping(倾倒)plastic from one trash truck into the ocean every minute.Therefore,governments around the world are increasingly taking measures to curb the threat of plastic trash.
