摘 要:中国特色社会主义进入新时代,我国社会主要矛盾已经转化为人民日益增长的美好生活需要和不平衡不充分的发展之间的矛盾。准确理解和深刻认识中国社会主要矛盾变化的科学内涵及其对高等教育发展提出的新要求,全面把握中国社会主要矛盾变化与高等教育发展的相互作用关系,以推进高等教育治理体系和治理能力现代化为抓手,从宏观和微观两个层面关注教育公平和教育质量,解决好高等教育发展不平衡不充分的问题,促进高等教育内涵式发展,加快高等教育现代化步伐,使高等教育发展从根本上满足人民对优质高等教育的需求,满足人民对美好生活的向往,为建设社会主义现代化强国提供有力支撑。As socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era, the principal contradiction facing Chinese society has evolved. What we are now faced with is the contradiction between unbalanced and inadequate development and the people’s ever-growing needs for a better life. This change objectively requires us to accurately and deeply understand the scientific connotation of the evolution of the principal contradiction of Chinese society and its new requirements for the development of higher education, to fully grasp the interaction between the evolution of the principal contradiction facing Chinese society and the development of higher education, to promote the modernization of higher education governance system and governance capability as the starting point, to pay attention to the fairness and quality of education from both macro and micro levels, and to solve the problem of unbalanced and inadequate development of higher education, to promote the connotative development of higher education, accelerate the pace of modernization of higher education, so that the development of higher education can fundamentally meet the people’s demand for high-quality higher education, meet the people’s yearning for a better life, and provide strong support for building China into a great modern socialist country.
