摘　　要：With support by the National Natural Science Foundation of China,an international team led by Prof. Tian Hui(田晖) and Dr. Tanmoy Samanta at Peking University,unveiled the physical processes responsible for the generation of solar spicules and subsequent coronal heating. Their paper was published in Science (2019,366:890).
