Objective:To explore the effect of small dose intermittent iron supplement on children with mild iron deficiency anemia.Methods:60 children with mild iron deficiency anemia were selected from March 2017 to March 2019,they were randomly divided into the two groups. The control group was treated with routine iron supplement, the experimental group was treated with intermittent iron supplementation. The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared. Results:There was no significant difference in the total effective rate between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment, the levels of Hb(hemoglobin),SF(serum ferritin),MCHC(mean red blood cell hemoglobin concentration),and MCV(mean red blood cell volume)were higher than before treatment, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the experimental group was significantly lower than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Children with mild iron deficiency anemia treated with intermittent iron supplementation can obtain good results, and have a lower incidence of adverse reactions, which is safe and effective.
