摘　　要：在众多20世纪莎士比亚传记中,伯吉斯的《莎士比亚传》在传材选择、移情和学术个性方面都明显地体现了作者的主体性。作者撷取婚姻、爱情等素材,从性本能的视角透视莎士比亚的情感;作者对暴力的分析和描写,与作者对社会的认知和个人经验密切相关,是作者自我情感在传主身上的投射;作者在传记中对语言、音乐和福斯塔夫精神的见解又具有鲜明的个性特色。伯吉斯怀着对莎士比亚的信仰,打破偶像崇拜观,从人性出发,追寻莎士比亚的一生,同时也留下了自己的足迹。In many twentieth-century Shakespeare’s biographies,Burgess’s Shakespeare clearly reflects the author’s subjectivity in material selection,empathy and academic personality.The author selects the material of love and marriage,etc.and explains Shakespeare’s emotions from the perspective of sexual instinct;the analysis and description of violence is closely related to the author’s perception of the society and personal experience,and it is the projection of the author’s self-emotion in the subject of the biography;the author’s explanation of the language,music and the spirit of Falstaff is characteristic in personality.With the belief in Shakespeare,Burgess breaks the concept of idol worship to pursue Shakespeare’s life from human nature and also leaves his own footprint.
