摘 要:1873年明治政府宣布撤销基督教禁教公告。神户地区的美部会传教士与日本青年合作创办了日本第一份基督教周刊《七一杂报》(1875-1884),是基督教传教士在日利用大众传媒手段开展传教活动的开端。报刊的办刊特点及报道内容反映出明治初年美部会在日传教策略及特点:传教策略主要体现在宣传对象面向社会中下层及女性群体,内容从以宣传文明开化为主转变为直接宣传宗教内容;传播特点表现为发展速度快、呈现本土化倾向。In 1873,the Meiji Government declared to rescind the ban on the Christian missionary activities.In 1875,the American Board of Commissioners for Foreign Missions in Kobe Area launched the first Japanese Christian newspaper,SichiIchi Zappo with the Japanese Christian youth which represented that the American Board has used a means of mass communication to spread the Christ.The characteristics and the contents of this Christian newspaper could reflect the Christian missionary’s guidelines which mainly reflected two respects.One hand,the target audience was the underclass,especially women;on the other hand,the contents of the Christian missionary activities shifted from civilization and enlightenment to the direct religious publicity.The main characteristics of missionary activities were as follows:the speed of the missionary was very fast and the trend appeared to be localized.
