摘　　要：太原慕容氏是一个较为典型的家族,其在北宋的发展脉络,呈现出一个由武转文的过程。从因武兴到以文显,家族的转化幅度看似剧烈,但过程却十分自然,慕容家族的发展轨迹正是北宋政治与社会变迁的一个微观反映。不过,文治导向确为慕容氏的重振提供了可能的途径,家族的衰落却未见“轻武”的影响。文武之间的职业色彩,在慕容氏家族延嗣的过程中,并非首要考虑的因素,家族的重新振兴才是其后世子孙关注的首要问题。The development of Murong family during the Northern Song Dynasty was a typically represents from the military to the civil.The career transition from the military to the civil seems drastic,but the redefinition of Murong family was a natural process.The occupation distinction between the military and the civil was not the same with what commonly believed by us in the development process of the Murong family.For the Murong descendants,the resurgent of the family was more important than the choice of the occupation between the military and the civil.
