中英文双语同刊页码一致编辑规范研究

摘　　要：阐述了中英文双语同刊的特点及页码保持一致的必要性,分析了《全球变化数据学报(中英文)》的特色及编排要求。针对英文表达等值信息时所占篇幅比中文多的问题,结合《全球变化数据学报(中英文)》的编辑实践,提出了调节中英文页码一致时应遵循的基本原则,并从调节体例格式、调整图/表尺寸和提高英文文字效能等三个方面论述了中英文双语同刊期刊保持页码一致的编排规范,以期解决语种不同、科学内容相同表达过程中出现的,即充分表达内容、又杜绝由于语种不同有可能产生不一致的矛盾。This paper illustrated the necessity to keep the page number same for Chinese and English versions for an article in the journal both in Chinese and English,and analyzed the feature and editorial requirements of the Journal of Global Change Data & Discovery. To overcome the problem that English takes up more spaces than Chinese when expressing the same information,based on the editing practices for the Journal of Global Change Data & Discovery,this paper put forward the basic principles to keep the same page number for English and Chinese versions and summarized the editing specifications from the language,perspectives of layout style,figure/table size,and English word effectiveness,in order to avoid the contradiction between the two languages when describing the same scientific content.
