摘　　要：河北保定是一座古城,在各历史时期被赋予了不同的功能定位,历经军事重镇、政治中心、军事教育要地、工业之城、历史文化名城等发展阶段,城市地位两起两落。2017年4月1日国家决定设立雄安新区,这是京津冀协同发展战略的重要举措。雄安新区的建设使保定成为主要受益者,为城市发展带来了前所未有的历史机遇与推动力。As an ancient city,Baoding has been endowed with different functions during different periods.After the developmental stages of a key military town,apolitical center,a key site of military education,an industrial city and a famous cultural city,the very city have been through ups and downs twice.On April 1,2017,Xiong’an New Area was established in Baoding,and this is a key strategy for the coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.The establishment of Xiong’an New Area makes Baoding a major beneficiary and offers unprecedented historical opportunity and drive for the development of the very city.
