Objective To explore the effect of establishing cards mechanism at the first consultation to increase the rate of establishing cards in early pregnancy. Methods A total of 91 early pregnant women who was proposed to establish card at the first consultation were selected as experimental group, and 91 early pregnant women who was proposed to establish card during the period of regular check-ups were selected as control group. The rate of establishing cards at the first consultation and pregnancy were compared between the two groups. Results The rate of establishing cards at the first consultation and natural delivery rate in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group, the pregnancy termination rate, cesarean delivery rate, and the overall incidences of adverse outcomes in the newborn and pregnant women were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Establishing cards at the first consultation in early pregnancy has an important role in increasing the rate of establishing cards in early pregnancy. It can not only effectively improve the success rate of pregnancy, but also reduce the incidences of adverse conditions of pregnant women and fetuses. It has high clinical promotion value.
