试探《驶向拜占庭》的哲理及艺术特色

摘　　要：英国诗人威廉·勃特勒·叶芝在一生的创作中都在努力寻找一种创作形式,能将高度抽象而又深奥复杂,甚至含混神秘的哲理表现出来,以使读者在欣赏诗句美感的同时领会哲理的韵味及深刻性。文章剖析了《驶向拜占庭》一诗的哲理和艺术特色,力图使读者在欣赏诗作时能“像闻到玫瑰香味那样地感知思想”。William Butler Yeats,an English poet,has been trying to find a form of creation in his life,which can show the highly abstract,profound and complicated,even ambiguous and mysterious philosophy,so that readers can appreciate the beauty of poetry and understand the charm and profundity of philosophy at the same time. This paper analyzes the philosophy and artistic features of the poem"Heading for Byzantium"in order to enable readers to "feel thoughts as if smelling the fragrance of roses"when appreciating the poem.
