摘　　要：文章以沪杭铁路建设这一事件为切入点,分析铁路入城前后杭州城站及其附近区域城市空间格局的转变,在此基础上探讨铁路建设对于城市边界空间的影响,进而尝试揭示杭州城市近代化可能的途径。This article analyzes the changes of urban spatial pattern of Hangzhou City Station and its surrounding zone during the Shanghai-Hangzhou railway construction period.With the railway crossing the city the impacts of the railway construction on urban boundary area are analyzed,which is used to reveal the possible ways of Hangzhou’s modernization.
