摘　　要：斯蒂芬·克莱恩一向被认为是美国自然主义文学的先驱,他的典型代表作《海上扁舟》体现了他对肇始于法国的自然主义的接受。文章试图从人与自然的角度来探讨小说中作家对人与自然关系的思索以及在小说中所呈现出的自然主义思想及超越。Stephan Crane has long been regarded as a pioneer of American naturalist literature.His masterpiece The Open Boat embodies his acceptance of naturalism originating in France.This paper is an attempt to explore the author’s thought about the relationship between human and nature,naturalist idea and its transcendence in this work.
