摘　　要：美国当代小说家唐·德里罗的代表作《白噪音》呈现和批判了大学教育和知识生产被淹没消融于消费商业白噪音中的"后现代状况"。小说中商业消费白噪音对山上学院的轮番轰击被设计为情节发展的多层辐射波状模式,这种文本构形结合讽刺模仿手法,揭示了白噪音对山上学院全面深入的渗透与侵蚀。本文析出小说中白噪音针对山上学院发起的两轮冲击波以及由此引发的一轮外向回振波,从三个层次上解读商业消费白噪音对山上学院大学理念、百年堂中的教学和大学知识生产的侵袭和控制。American contemporary novelist Don DeLillo’s White Noise represents and critiques the postmodern condition of college education and knowledge production engulfed by and dissolved into the white noise of commercialization and consumerism. The waves of white noise’s relentless onslaughts on College-on-the-Hill project an undercurrent textual pattern which, combined with parody, sets out white noise’s thorough invasion and infiltration into the college. This paper analyzes two waves of attacks on the college by white noise and a wave of reverberation as their fallout. The three waves of assault reduce into uniform white noise the education in College-on-the-Hill and the Centenary Hall and the postmodern answer to Socratic knowledge production.
